I can never remember which capacitors are “good” and which are “not so good.” The summary here is a huge simplification…
C0G (NP0) are not too temperature sensitive, but you may not get the best capacitance-to-space ratio for larger caps.
All the others are more temperature sensitive, and some much more than others
I had a great link that explains this, but as is often the case, the page has gone into the bit-bucket.
A note to myself – remember, at higher frequencies, especially VHF->UHF, capacitors also have an inductance and resistance. And the same goes for resistors (perhaps less so with MELF types) and inductors.
